CL: PSG hold off Aalborg in late drama

Aalborg wanted to shake Kiel at the top of the group. But after a dramatic ending to the game against PSG – the French away team came out victorious with 32–30.

The Danes went out and stood up well against the French capital team and at halftime it was completely even, 15-15. In the second act, the power struggle continued and with five minutes left the score was 28–28.

But then PSG showed strength and after a goal from Nikola Karabatic and two from top scorer Kamil Syprzak, the visitors led 31-28 and it would turn out to be a match-deciding move. After that, Aalborg certainly polished the numbers, which were finally written at 32-30 in PSG’s favor.

Barcelona storms towards the group victory

At the same time, Veszprem suffered a serious loss when they fell in the away meeting with Wisla Plock by 37-30 after having to chase from an early stage in the match. A result which means that you are now four points up on Barcelona at the top of the group.
