Aalborg welcomed Sander Sagosen back to the home ground and Miguel Martins had the same return in front of the fans after the terminated suspension, As a team, Aalborg took a step towards winning the league with 33–27 against GOG.

Sagosen applied some duel force in the beginning versus GOG, won some penalty shots and added some assists to the winning recipe.
