Backed by a new investment led by podcast star Lewis Howes and strengthened by former European handball stars, Los Angeles Team Handball Club captured their first national title in 16 years.
Los Angeles Team Handball Club are champions of the USA National Championships for the first time since 2010, marking a historic comeback for the California-based side. The victory represents the culmination of an ambitious relaunch project spearheaded by Lewis Howes, the globally recognized podcast host with millions of followers, who has played a key role in the club’s renewed vision and investment.
The championship run was powered by a remarkable roster featuring several former international stars, including Sweden’s Dalibor Doder, Spain’s Viran Morros and France’s William Accambray. Their experience and leadership proved decisive throughout the tournament, as Los Angeles combined structure, intensity and winning mentality to secure the gold medal.
Sixteen years after their last national triumph, Los Angeles are back on top, this time with global attention, renewed ambition and a project that could significantly elevate the profile of handball in the United States.
