Top sides continue group stage domination

It was another matchday where the big nations took care of business. Hungary, Norway and Sweden all scored over 40 goals as they cruised past their respective opponents.

With the exception of the Faroe Islands upsetting Spain, it has been a group stage where the favorites have dominated. Hungary followed up their opening win against Senegal with a crushing victory over Iran.

The Hungarians showed no mercy as they completely dominated from start to finish, winning 47-13. In the same fashion, Norway dismantled Kazakhstan 46-16. The Norwegians have yet to be tested but will face a slightly tougher challenge in the final group match against Angola.

Sweden were the third team to deliver a 40-plus-goal victory as they took on Cuba. As expected, Sweden had full control defensively and could punish a struggling Cuba on the counterattack. Left wing Clara Lerby scored eleven goals as her team won 47-17. Just like Norway, Sweden will face a much tougher opponent in the next game — a group final against Brazil.
