After an even first half, Norway were the better team in the second half of the quarter-final against the Netherlands. Norway won, 29–23, after big performances from Silje Solberg and Stine Skogrand.
The first half was a bit crazy. 9 saves by Yara ten Holte and 10 saves by Silje Solberg in a half that saw about as many technical errors by the teams as there were goals.
Norway scored 5 five straight goals to go up 7–4 and during that period the Netherlands went almost 10 minutes without scoring a goal.
However, the Netherlands would get the last word in the first half when they came back from a 5-goal deficit to the half-time score, 12–11 to Norway.
In the second half, the Netherlands did not play well at all and still had too many technical errors, which caused the game to slip out of their hands. Norway started the half in great fashion and the Netherlands never got the opportunity to catch up.
Big match winners for Norway were Silje Solberg and Stine Skogrand on the right wing. Skogrand scored 9 goals on 9 attempts. Next up is the semi-finals for Norway where they will face Denmark or Montenegro.
