Marketa Jerabkova has been outstanding for Czechia during the World Cup. She is also in the lead of the top scorers-list with 52 goals heading in to the final weekend of this year’s tournament.
Czechia surprised many of us by securing their place in the quarter-finals. But they were beaten by Olivier Krumbholz and his France – but a player that has showed her unique qualities is Marketa Jerabkova.
The left back has been fantastic and is on top of the top scorers-list with 52 goals heading in to the final games of the tournament.
At second place we find Eliza-Iulia Buceschi from Romania, with 47 goals. But as Romania has already been knocked out from the tournament her goal tally won’t rise anymore.
Looking at the teams that still is in the race for the medals, Sweden’s Nathalie Hagman is the highest ranked player with 38 goals (on 81 percent efficiency) and after her comes Norway’s Camilla Herrem with 36 goals.
