The road to the EHF European League title is now fully mapped out after Friday’s semi-final draw for the EHF Finals 2026 in Hamburg.
Defending champions SG Flensburg-Handewitt will face THW Kiel in an all-German blockbuster, while Montpellier Handball take on MT Melsungen in the second semi-final as four familiar contenders return to the final weekend once again.
All four teams also reached last season’s semi-finals, underlining the strength and consistency at the top of the competition. Flensburg arrive in Hamburg chasing a third consecutive EHF European League title after lifting the trophy in both 2024 and 2025.
The clash between Flensburg and Kiel is expected to headline the weekend, with two German giants renewing one of handball’s biggest rivalries on the European stage. Meanwhile, Montpellier and Melsungen will battle for a place in the final after both impressed during the quarter-finals.
The Winamax EHF Finals 2026 will be played at Barclays Arena in Hamburg on 30–31 May, with the semi-finals scheduled for Saturday before the bronze match and final take place on Sunday.
