Paris Saint-Germain is doing the best to minimize the damage done by some recent point losses playing away. Aix proved hard to bring out of joint but the capital team was in control and steered from an early lead to 37–34.
PSG managed to stay just the point behind HBC Nantes and gained an extra push from the Sunday win. The tight drama left Aix trailing with two goals at half time, despite a convincing performance by right wing Gabriel Loesch the guests lacked an opening to really threaten the leading team.
Kamil Syprzak, currently second best overall goalscorer in the top flight, produced eight marks from the pivot position. PSG´s best distance options were Yahia Omar and Elohim Prandi with six goals each.
