It has previously been reported that Jim Gottfridsson is on his way to Pick Szeged. Now Aftonbladet states that the middle nine is completely ready for a move to Hungary in the summer of 2025.
There has been speculation about Jim Gottfridsson’s being or not being in Flensburg-Handewitt. Previous information has claimed that the Swedish international has been on the way to Pick Szeged and now it seems that a move to Hungary is getting closer.
Aftonbladet writes that informed sources state that it is now completely clear that the 31-year-old will leave Flensburg for Pick Szeged in the summer of 2025, when his current contract with the Bundesliga giant expires.
In Pick Szeged, it is already clear that Michael Apelgren and Jonas Källman will take over the coaching responsibilities for the coming season. Last week it was also clear that fellow Swedish international, Tobias Thulin, has signed for the club, where he will join during the summer.
If the move were to materialize, it would mean Gottfridsson leaving Flensburg after 12 years at the club, where he came from Ystads IF in 2013.
