The European Handball players union EHPU is speaking out. In a message on Instagram, several major stars appear in a joint statement from the players:
“We have a voice, and our representatives should be in the room when important decisions are made.”
This is what the statement from the players’ union says, in which, among others, Henny Reistad, Ludovic Fabregas, Helena Elver, and Gisli Kristjansson appear:
“The players are a part of the game, and we deserve a seat at the table.
Our perspective is essential if the goal is to grow this sport that we all care about so deeply.
We have a voice, and our representatives should be in the room when important decisions are made.
We want to contribute, we want to take responsibility, and we want to elevate the game of handball to the next level. Listen to the players.”
