The Olympic tournament in Los Angeles is the major goal for national teams in the coming years. IHF has published the basic schedule for the contest.
Wednesday 12 July 2028 is the first game day to mark in the calendar. That is two days before the opening ceremony when the Men’s preliminary round get going with six games.
The following day the Women’s tournament take over the Olympic arenas. After a game-free day handball get full attention with preliminary round and play-off matches being played each day,
The medal games are set for Thursday 27 July (Men) and Friday 28 July (Women). Match start will be 13:00, the equivalent of 10 p.m. in Central Europe.
