Nora Mørk back in action for Norway

Nearly 14 months after the Olympic final, Nora Mørk returned and scored in the national jersey. Norway had a troublesome evening in EHF Euro Cup but got the work done to win over Romania, 27–25.

The tournament between nations already qualified or arranging Euro 2026 got underway in Larvik and Mørk was first to be seen halfway in the first half. It didn’t take long for the creative star to find the net and Norway had the lead with 11–8.

For the team as a whole, Norway lacked some precision and delivery, Romania aimed for a second half upset with 6–1 to tie the match.

To stand on top, Norway had to rely on Henny Reistad with a total of ten goals, including the deciding penalty in the last minute.

– We keep calm after this. We have had more focus on ourselves than Romania, Mørk said to TV 2 afterwards.

Norway face Slovakia away in a weekend game, with Mørk and Reistad among the players granted a leave to make room for replacements.
