Seeding Set for EHF European League 2025/26

The stage is set for the 2025/26 season of the EHF European League, with the European Handball Federation officially announcing the seeding for the women’s competition.

The women’s competition kicks off with two qualification rounds, with both draws to be held on 15 July 2025. Qualification Round 2 will run from 27 September to 5 October. Qualification Round 3 will be played from 8 to 16 November. A total of 18 teams will compete in the opening qualification round (round 2), including:

The nine winners from these two-legged ties will move on to Qualification Round 3, where they will be joined by 15 clubs directly seeded into that stage:

This round will determine the 12 teams that earn their place in the group phase. Waiting in the group phase, which begins on 10 January 2026, are four clubs seeded directly into this stage:

Nykøbing Falster Håndbold (DEN)
Sola HK (NOR)
CSM Corona Brasov (ROU)

The group matches will run until 22 February 2026, after which the top two teams in each group will advance to the quarter-finals, scheduled over two legs from 21 to 29 March.
