Reistad sets the pace in early Champions League scoring race

Henny Reistad has made a flying start to the new EHF Champions League season and currently leads the scoring charts after three rounds.

Just three matches have been played, but Henny Reistad has already established herself at the top of the Champions League scoring charts. The Team Esbjerg star has scored 30 goals in the opening three games, putting her one goal ahead of NFH’s Clara Lerby, who has found the net 29 times.

Behind the duo, CSM București’s Valeriia Maslova and HC Podravka’s Katarina Pandza are tied on 23 goals. Buducnost’s Djurdjina Jaukovic is fifth with 21 goals, while Györi’s Tjasa Stanko follows on 20.

Györi also have two more players inside the top 11. Emilie Hovden has scored 19 goals, while Helena Elver has added 17.

With only three rounds completed, the scoring race is still wide open. Reistad currently holds the top spot, but Lerby is just one goal behind, while the gap to the chasing pack remains relatively small.
