Kristina Novak from Norway and Sola HK has agreed on a two-year-deal with French top-flight club Brest Bretagne. That means the right back is set on a Champions League debut this autumn.
Her current club Sola HK has offered some international experience in European League. After the breakthrough, Novak has been en route to bigger clubs and Brest meet the ambitions.
– To be able to play in Champions League is a dream come true. I’m looking forward to grow as a BBH-player, and especially to learn a new language and a new culture, she says to the club webpage.
Novak made it to the national team in time for the European Championship gold in 2022. The autumn season in 2023/24 was injury ridden, but Novak was back in the squad for the World Cup, which the 23-year-old started on home soil in Stavanger as player of the match in the opening game.
