Eriksson extends Romanian adventure

Evelina Eriksson joined CSM Bucharest in 2022. Now the club confirms that the Swedish national team goalkeeper has extended her contract until the summer of 2026.

After two impressive seasons in Skuru, Evelina Eriksson left for the Norwegian club Vipers Kristiansand. There, too, it was two seasons before the transfer went to CSM Bucharest in the summer of 2022.

Now the Romanian capital club announces that it has extended the contract with the Swedish national team goalkeeper until the summer of 2026, something that comes as a result of a series of strong performances in the Champions League game.

Earlier in December, Eriksson was part of the Swedish World Cup squad that finished fourth. The 27-year-old impressed when she got the chance instead of Johanna Bundsen.

Except for Eriksson Bucharest also announced the renewals of Elizabeth Omoregie (2026) and with Emilie Arntzen.
