Constantin Möstl approaching Bundesliga transfer?

”Man of the Match” against Germany is only one of the achievements for Austria´s Constantin Möstl during Euro 2024. The goalkeeper has caught interest and TBV Lemgo Lippe is close to a deal, according to rthandball.

As the major surprise so far of the tournament, Austria remains in contention for a semifinal spot. The young, relatively unexperienced team has also got strong support between the posts.

Möstl helped Austria defeat Hungary and allowed no easy opening for Germany after 17 saves in the handball party Saturday night.

All in all, Möstl has made his mark internationally. Alpla HC Hard in the native league has the keeper on contract until 2026. That might change as TBV Lemgo Lippe has made an approach, writes rthandball.

Moving to Bundesliga at least doesn´t scare the promising 23-year-old.

– Why not. I would be very happy, and it would be the next step for me. Right now, there are no inquiries and I have full focus on the European Championship, said Möstl to several Austrian media outlets.
