Veselin Vujovic has secured his next job, this time as the head coach of the national team of Qatar. This marks his fourth position since 2023.
After just two months with RK Nexe, Vujovic left the Croatian club, and now his next role has been confirmed.
“An agreement was reached last night in Belgrade, Serbia, between coach Veselin Vujovic and Mr. Ahmed Al Shaabi, President of the Qatari Handball Federation. The new coach is scheduled to be presented at a press conference, which will be announced soon,” writes the Qatar Handball Federation on their website.
The length of Vujovic’s contract has yet to be revealed, and the date of his first match is also unknown. However, the reigning Asian champions will participate in the 2025 World Championship in Croatia, Denmark, and Norway.
