BM Torrelavega welcome a new coach for the 2024/25 season. If everything goes according to plan, Jacobo Cuétara will work for four years with the team Liga Asobal.
Torrelavega, at the moment on position six among the best teams in Spain, announce a deal with the experienced coach.
Cuetara arrive at his new team after eleven years on elite level in Liga Asobal. Despite taking Bidasoa Irun to second position in the autumn, it was announced in late November that the club wouldn´t offer a renewal.
Torrelavega saw the opening and has secured Cuetara until 2028.

– There will be certain changes and, as always, it will be difficult to adapt, but both the club and the previous coach have been doing things very well for years,
– The idea is to continue growing and evolving, what I guarantee is work to the maximum and we hope that, with the passage of time, the results will arrive, continues Cuetara.
Bidasoa Irun hope to keep up their pace having tied the first league game with Barcelona. In Torrelavega, Álex Mozas will finish off the season that he started from the bench.
