Romania has found Pascual’s replacement

Xavi Pascual won’t coach Romania anymore. The Romanian handball federation has found the Spaniard’s replacement in George Buricea from CSM Constanta.

Xavi Pascual, a top coach in Europe, could not get the Romanian team over the hump in the 2024 Euros. Romania lost all 3 matches they played in and finished third to last in the competition.

Maybe the addition of George Buricea as the new head coach will get this sleeping giant going.
