Men’s 2025 World Championship: Here are the host cities

The 29th Men’s World Championship takes place in Denmark, Norway, and Croatia next year. The host cities and schedule have now been announced by the IHF.

This will be the third World Championship in which 32 countries participate. The final is to take place in Oslo, Norway, whilst the opening ceremony is being held in Herning, Denmark.

Croatia will be the host of 4 preliminary groups: two groups will play in Zagreb, one in Porec, and one in Varazdin. Then one Main round group will play in Zagreb and one in Varazdin, with the last match being played on Croatian soil will be one of the semi-finals in Zagreb. The President’s Cup will be held in Porec.

Herning and Oslo are the only cities in which matches will be played in Denmark and Norway.
