During yesterday’s qualifiers, three new nations secured their spots for the European Championship in January next year: Hungary, the Czechia, and Germany. It is also confirmed that Turkey will miss out on the tournament.
The list of teams set to compete in Euro 2026 is beginning to take shape. And yesterday it was confirmed that Hungary, the Czechia, and Germany will participate in the Euros in January 2026 – a tournament hosted by Sweden, Denmark, and Norway.
The three newly qualified teams will join the following nations that have already secured their places:
Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Slovenia, Iceland, Croatia, and Portugal.
The Euro qualifiers continue on Thursday. The final round will be played this weekend, and by Sunday evening we will know which teams will compete in the European Championship.
