The silver medalist of 2023, France has experienced several injuries during the autumn. The coach, Guillaume Gille can still present a superb squad in the preliminary version, reports Handnews.
Kylian Villeminot will definitely be absent due to an achilles operation. Among the other stars, Dika Mem and Elohim Prandi is currently out with shoulder issues, and Kentin Mahé is troubled by the elbow.
Gille has included the trio in the pre-selection along with surprising potential reserve options as Timothy N´Guessan and key players as Hugo Descat, Ludovic Fabregas and Melvyn Richardson.
The final preparations will get underway December 21 on home soil. France then travels to Porec, Croattia for the premiere game against Qatar January 14.
