Petar Djordjic has been a big profile for the Serbian national team for a long time. But now it has been confirmed that he will will play in his home country at a club level – for RK Vojvodina.
Petar Djordjic has previously represented the likes of Flensburg-Handewitt, Meshkov Brest and Hamburg. But since 2019 the Serbian back player has represented the Portuguese side SL Benfica – a stint that has now come to an end.
During the Monday Serbian side RK Vojvodina confirms that they has reached an agreement to sign Djordjic with immediate effect – a signing that shows that the club from Novi Sad wants to compete.
At the same time it casts a light on the situation in Benfica. Previously it has been reported that the danish goalkeeper is closing in on a move away from Portugal – and now Djordjic will leave the club during the ongoing season.
