Preparations for Men’s EHF Euro 2026 qualifiers and the EHF Euro Cup are now complete. In January 2026, it will Sweden, Norway, and Denmark host Men’s EHF Euro. While 32 countries compete for the final 20 spots, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and France, who are directly qualified, will meet in the EHF Euro Cup.
Sweden, Norway, and Denmark share the hosting duties for the EHF Euro 2026 and therefore do not need to go through the qualification process. France, the reigning champion, is also guaranteed a spot in the championship.
32 countries remain in the battle for the remaining 20 EHF Euro tickets, and today the qualifying matches were drawn. The top two teams in each group, plus the four best third-placed teams, will join the already qualified teams.
Over three qualifying weeks, spread across November 2024, March 2025, and May 2025, the four teams that are qualified for the Men’s EHF Euro 2026 will meet in the EHF Euro Cup. All teams will face each other both at home and away.

Round 1: France vs. Sweden, Denmark vs. Norway – Played on November 6/7
Round 2: Sweden vs. Denmark, Norway vs. France – Played on November 9/10
Round 3: Sweden vs. Norway, Denmark vs. France – Played on March 12/13
Round 4: Norway vs. Sweden, France vs. Denmark – Played on March 15/16
Round 5: Sweden vs. France, Norway vs. Denmark – Played on May 7/8
Round 6: Denmark vs. Sweden, France vs. Norway – Played on May 11
