Gille confirms squad for EHF Euros – trio is absent

France is one of the favorites to win the upcoming EHF Euros I Germany. Now, Guillaume Gille has also confirmed his final squad for the tournament – where three players are absent.

Earlier in December Guillaume Gille announced his squad for France’s pre-Euro-camp. Now the French national team coach has also announced his final squad for the upcoming tournament in Germany. 

From the initial 23-man squad Gille has decided to exclude the left winger Mathieu Grebille and the right winger Benoit Kounkoud. In addition to that Vincent Gérard is injured and will not be available for Gille. 

France will play in group A versus Germany, North Macedonia and Switzerland.
