According to HandballBase, the Slovenian super talent Mitja Janc is close to finalizing a move to the Polish giants Wisla Plock. He is rumored to join them after the next season.
One of Celje’s best players this season has been the Slovenian superstar Mitja Janc, scoring 87 goals in the Champions League. The 21-year-old is under contract with Celje until the summer of 2025
Now, HandballBase says that the playmaker is on the verge of signing for Wisla Plock. If he were to join Plock he would then do it in the summer of 2025.
Janc is Celje’s top scorer at the moment, both in the league and in the Champions League, and was selected as the MVP of the 2021 European Men’s U-19 Handball Championship, along with being the tournament’s top scorer.
Mitja Janc is the younger brother of Blaž Janc, who’s currently playing for Barcelona.
