Official: Sindre Heldal arrives at Paris Saint-Germain

The Norwegian wing player Sindre Heldal is the latest addition to PSG´s squad. The 26-year-old enters as a medical joker after the injury on Emil Mellegard.

Having played for Elverum since 2021 Heldal brings a lot of international experience to his new club. The move was sought after by the CL giant since Mellegard´s serious knee injury prevents play for many months to come.

– Joining Paris Saint-Germain Handball is a source of immense pride and an important step for me. Playing for a club of this stature is a unique opportunity, and I am determined to put all my energy and commitment into helping the team achieve its goals, Heldal says to the club webpage.

PSG is in final preparations for the Champions League premiere with a tough assignment, SC Magdeburg away on Wednesday.

– We are very happy to welcome Sindre to Paris Saint-Germain Handball. His arrival strengthens our left wing, and we are convinced that he will bring all his energy and efficiency to the team throughout the season, says the general manager Thierry Omeyer concerning Heldal.
