Jannick Green receives a prolonged contract with Paris Saint-Germain. At the same time, the French champion announces a new arrival, Mikkel Løvkvist to start next summer.
The cooperation between Green and the Swedish keeper Andreas Palicka comes to an end after the current season. Instead PSG opts for an all-danish solution between the posts.
Løvkvist finishes a three-season stint with Bjerringbro-Silkeborg and acquires top-level routine when entering the two-year-deal with PSG.
– Signing for Paris Saint-Germain is a great honour and an incredible opportunity. I’m joining a prestigious club, which has always had great ambitions and which will enable me to reach a new milestone in my career, he says to the club webpage.
Meanwhile, Green sets sight to double the length of his stay in the red and blue jersey.
– We are very proud to extend the contract of Jannick Green, who has established himself as a key member of our team. His spirit and commitment are perfectly in tune with the Club’s values. From next season, he will form a promising duo with Mikkel Løvkvist, a young goalkeeper who has already put in some fine performances at European level, says the general manager Thierry Omeyer to the club website.
