After some ups and downs, Aalborg could sum up an evening where all ingredients joined in for a superb win. Fabian Norton between the posts reached a much higher level than Kielce duo, Henrik Møllgaard led the defense and Thomas Arnoldsen´s shots found their way in the frist half. When Aalborg had to defend a six-goal-lead after the break Marinus Munk and Jack Thurin took over the goal production successively.
Aalborg reached top three after winning 35–28. In second spot, HBC Nantes left no room for RK Zagreb after the break.
Sporting CP lost some of its season start spark and Dinamo Bucharest more or less controlled the game on home soil. Fredericia went from zero to two points with William Andersson Moberg added nine goals in the score sheet, including the underarm shot which cut off Wisla Plock in the end.
