Sweden are set to face Hungary in the final of the Men’s 20 EHF EURO 2026 after defeating Denmark in the semi-finals. Hungary secured their place in the title match with a 31–24 victory over Slovenia.
Sweden head into the final as the tournament’s only unbeaten team, having won all seven of their matches so far. Their run to the final has included victories over France in the quarter-finals and Denmark in the semi-finals.
The two sides have already met once in Romania. In the main round, Sweden delivered one of their strongest performances of the tournament, defeating Hungary 40–24.
The final will be played on Sunday, 19 July, with throw-off at 18:30 CEST in Cluj-Napoca. Earlier in the day, Denmark and Slovenia will meet in the bronze medal match.
