The final Bundesliga table: Winners, surprises and heartbreak

The 2025/26 Bundesliga season is officially in the books. While SC Magdeburg secured the championship, the final standings also confirmed Gummersbach’s resurgence, Berlin’s return to the Champions League and GWD Minden’s painful relegation.

SC Magdeburg have officially finished the 2025/26 Bundesliga season as German champions.

The title winners collected 64 points from 34 matches and ended the campaign ahead of Füchse Berlin, who secured second place and a Champions League berth after a strong finish to the season.

SG Flensburg-Handewitt completed the top three, while VfL Gummersbach’s fourth-place finish marked the club’s best league result in nearly two decades.

At the opposite end of the table, Leipzig and GWD Minden were relegated to the second division, with Minden suffering heartbreak on the final day after missing the chance to secure survival.

The final standings also confirmed European places for Magdeburg, Berlin, Flensburg, Gummersbach, Lemgo, and Melsungen ahead of next season. No Kiel in Europe…
