Stellar Claar keeps on dominating

Felix Claar continues to dominate in the Bundesliga. On Saturday, he accounted for another eleven goals as his Magdeburg defeated Rhein-Neckar Löwen 38-24.

Felix Claar has been responsible for an impressive first autumn in the Bundesliga since the move from Aalborg to Magdeburg and on Saturday the impressive form continued.

Bennet Wiegert was then pitted against the Rhein-Neckar Löwen in a meeting between two of the heavyweights in German handball – but it was never very even.

Already before the second half, Magdeburg had gone up to a 16–13 lead after, among other things, six goals by Claar. The Swede then continued, and the home team’s display during the second act.

Claar added five more goals and Magdeburg was also able to run away and win by a full 38-24, which means that they consolidate the series lead.

Janus Smárasson (seven goals) and Magnus Saugstrup (six goals) also responded for fine efforts in the home team, which has picked up speed properly.
