Gummersbach appear to have found their new goalkeeping duo for next season – at least if you believe the Instagram account Rygtebors, which reports that Bertram Obling and Tobias Thulin will share the responsibilities between the posts.
Bertram Obling is already playing for Gummersbach, while Tobias Thulin currently represents PICK Szeged. This season, Dominik Kuzmanovic has been the first-choice goalkeeper for the high-flying Gummersbach side, but the Croatian international is heavily rumoured to be joining Magdeburg ahead of next season.
And those rumours certainly won’t cool down now that Rygtebors claim Gummersbach will field a Nordic goalkeeper duo next season in Obling and Thulin. Thulin previously spent several years with Magdeburg and Stuttgart in the Bundesliga before moving on to GOG, and is now in his second season with Hungarian giants Szeged.
What do you think – will this be another strong goalkeeping pair for Gummersbach next season?
