Danish right wing Frederik Bo Andersen is in talks over a move to SC Magdeburg, according to information obtained by GoHandball and RThandballgermany. No agreement has been signed at this stage.
Andersen, 27, currently plays for Handball Club Hamburg and has established himself as a reliable option on the right wing in the Bundesliga. The Denmark international joined Hamburg in 2024 after spending his entire professional career with GOG. He has since become an important part of the Hamburg squad, combining efficiency from the wing with experience at international level.
According to information from GoHandball and RThandballgermany, Magdeburg have opened talks with Andersen regarding a potential move. The discussions are ongoing and no deal has been finalised.
A move to Magdeburg could become relevant as the club is set for a change on the right wing. Swedish international Daniel Pettersson’s contract with SC Magdeburg expires at the end of the season, although it remains unclear whether Andersen would be his direct replacement.
