Rumor: Domen Novak to SG Flensburg-Handewitt

SG Flensburg-Handewitt has signed a new right wing, according to Handballbase. The player is 26-year-old Domen Novak, currently with HSG Wetzlar, and he will join the club in 2025.

After three years with RK Celje and two years in the Champions League, where he scored 40 goals last season, the Slovenian national team player left his home country for the Bundesliga to join HSG Wetzlar.

Now, according to Handballbase, Novak has signed a two-year contract with the German powerhouse SG Flensburg-Handewitt and will join the club in the summer of 2025.

With Novak’s arrival, either Johan Hansen or Aksel Horgen will have to leave the club to make space.
