Omar Ingi Magnusson got SC Magdeburg off to good start in Bundesliga with 15 goals. In the Danish league Frederik Tilsted repeated the super scoring performance for Sønderjyske.
Magnusson became the top scorer in Bundesliga already in his debut season for Magdeburg, 2020/21. Five seasons later, the 28-year-old is still reliable for a very high level in the back court of the top side.
With 15 goals on 18 attempts, including five successful penalties Magnusson put Magdeburg on the winning side in the season start,
Another much inspired effort made Frederik Tilsted reach 15 goals for Sønderjyske who distanced Ribe-Esbjerg HH 38–30. A total of 13 back court goals, plus two penalties took Tilsted to the peak in the first round. While, the right shooter missed one seven meter attempt there was plenty of positive compensation with six assists.
