Rhein-Neckar Löwen star Haukur Thrastarson has finished the Bundesliga season as the league’s leading assist provider.
The Icelandic international recorded 196 assists, nearly 50 more than second-placed Jacob Lassen of Hamburg.
Thrastarson was one of the few bright spots in an inconsistent season for Löwen and combined elite playmaking with over 200 goals to establish himself as one of the Bundesliga’s most productive offensive players.
Behind him, Jacob Lassen (147) and Magdeburg playmaker Gisli Kristjansson (144) completed the top three.
