Hamburg scared Füchse Berlin to a tie

HSV Hamburg might be heading to a tough season in the bottom half of the table. But once in a while there’s a true glimmer of hope where even the top teams can be rattled, 29–29 against Füchse Berlin.

Berlin had to give up a point for Hamburg´s high gear after the break. Robin Haug who appeared between the posts half way was one of the point winners, Casper U. Mortensen on the left wing and Azat Vailullin on the back court reduced Berlin’s lead considerably in the second half.

The six-goal-deficit was equalized after 42 minutes. Berlin had surplus and regained some confidence with Tim Freihöfer in charge of the shots and competent assists from Lasse Bredekjaer Andersson.

The audience in Hamburg´s arena could easily spot a Danish favorite of their own, Frederik Bo Andersen scored eight times and got the home team back in the game.

In the end, Berlin had to push hard to secure a draw, Mijajlo Marsenic stood behind 29–29.
