THW Kiel were having a blast during the Wednesday evening.
First, they confirmed the contract extensions with Rune Dahmke and Samir Bellahchene and the hey crushed Hannover-Burgdorf with 34–20 to secure their seventh straight Bundesliga win.
During the Wednesday evening THW Kiel confirmed that they have extended the contracts with Rune Dahmke and the newcomer Samir Bellahcene. The left wing will stay at the club until 2026 and the goalkeeper will be playing in the white shirt until 2025 – an important message after Vincent Gerrard confirmed that he is retiring after the season.
Then they proceeded to go out and crush Hannover-Burgdorf with 34–20. This came as a result of a strong defensive performance, followed by a ruthless offensive output.
At the offensive end Elias Ellefsen á Skipagøtu and Karl Wallinius excelled with six goals apiece and between the sticks Tomas Mrkva were spectacular during the first half.
The victory was Kiel’s seventh straight in the Bundesliga and it means that they move up to fourth place, on the same points as Flensburg-Handewitt, whom has one game in hand.
