Füchse Berlin has lacked some spark on home ground for the first half of the season. The spring might see a higher capacity, SG Flensburg-Handewitt couldn’t keep up with the new table number three who won by five goals.
After the interesting rumours about Mathias Gidsel and Simon Pytlick joining forces in the capital team, the danish back court stars took position for separate teams in the Sunday duel.
Berlin got the grip and the team mates away for Tim Freihöfer goal opportunities to an early lead. The left wing converted penalties and spurred the home team during the first intense 30 minutes. Gidsel stod behind a lot of won duels in the first half, then he improved his own shot percentage with fast step action to pass the opponents.
A decisive period occurred from 23–22 onwards, four straight home goals allowed for Berlin to set the pace.
Milosavljev maintained a capable level with shining saves. A final push made Flensburg get a bot closer but Berlin ruled with ease until 36–31.
