Teitur Einarsson has a tough competitive situation in Flensburg-Handewitt. Now he talks about the interest from other clubs
– I have spoken a little with a Danish club, but I have spoken with several clubs from the Bundesliga, he says in an interview with Flensburg Avis.
It hit like something of a chock when Flensburg bought Teitur Einarsson from IFK Kristianstad back in 2021.
The adventure in Germany has been successful, but the Icelandic right-back has found it difficult to compete with Kay Smits during the season. In the summer, Niclas Kirkeløkke will also connect from Rhein-Neckar Löwen. Something that has made Einarsson think about the future.
– It’s not 100 percent sure yet. I have talked a lot with many clubs and I think I will make a decision at the end of this month, he tells Flensburg Avis and continues:
– I have also spoken a bit with a Danish club, but I have spoken with several clubs from the Bundesliga.
Einarsson has a contract with Flensburg that expires after the season.
