Christian O´Sullivan prolongs in Magdeburg

SC Magdeburg has agreed for Christian O´Sullivan to continue one more year in a vital position. The team captain will thereby start his tenth season for the title contender.

– Magdeburg is my home, and SCM has always been my first point of contact. I’m delighted that I’ll be wearing the green and red jersey again next season, said O’Sullivan to the club webpage.

Magdeburg did miss O´Sullivan for some games in the spring season, because of an knee injury for the back court player during the World Championships.

The 33-year-old has returned to the squad, prepared both to give Magdeburg the best possible end of the season and to recharge for one more season.

– Christian is an incredibly important player for SC Magdeburg, both on and off the field. He has won every title with us and, as captain, has played a major role in our sporting development over the past few years. With his experience, he will help us achieve our goals next season, especially in defense, said the coach Bennet Wiegert to the club webpage.
