Stuttgart was trailing during a majority of the game against Rhein-Neckar Löwen. But they still managed to stay in the game and when the last whistle was blown, they stood as winners with 32–31 after a tight finish.

But Stuttgart didn’t give up without a fight and despite being 13-18 down before the second half, they were able to fight back and finally emerge victorious with 32-31 after a tight finish.
In the home team the swede Adam Lönn stood out with his eight goals, but Daniel Fernández and Kai Häffner played important roles in the victory as well.
The result means that Stuttgart stays above the relegation zone, even though Eisenach were able to beat Erlangen in their game during the Friday night.
