Paris Saint-Germain had another unproblematic hour to extend their victory streak to seven in a row. For 15 minutes Chartres held the pace of the star team, but the advantage of PSG soon became visible with 26–34 in the end.
The league schedule has left PSG without any major hurdle for the first month of the season. Chartres, having gained four points in the first six rounds wasn’t capable of a surprise and the guest could soon pull away with a safe margin.
The goalkeeper duel was interesting in the stats, Milan Bomastar (34 percent) nearly matched Jannick Green (38 percent) in the winning team but Chartres couldn’t provide the same overall efficiency.
Elohim Prandi (six goals plus five assists) put his mark on many attacks and Luc Steins also saw a lot of openings for a teammate to shoot.
PSG is one point ahead of Montpellier HB, HBC Nantes being the third undefeated team in Starligue.
