Paris Saint-Germain and HBC Nantes keeps turning the tables in the battle for the Starligue title. The capital team offered a Friday show and kept the distance to local rival US Ivry, 41–28.
PSG applied some force and some energy-saving mode with a 13-goal margin. For the first Ivry had some hope with 6–7 on the board. But it didn’t take long for PSG to use a varied offensive approach to increase the lead.
Luc Steins got the most minutes in a central position and found solutions like no other. Some of his assists put left back Jacob Tandrup Holm and right back Kent Robin Tönnesen in excellent position to score, while Ruben Machado added six goals from the pivot position.
Unsurprisingly, Ivry fell behind and the main goal to get out of the relegation zone couldn’t be attended in the face-off against the new table number one. PSG also put the team in a position where Nantes can’t pass, despite an eventual HBC win in the during the weekend.
