HBC Nantes ruled over Paris Saint-Germain in the French top duel. During the last quarter Kauldi Odriozola and his teammates created a three-goal-margin for the home team. All in all Nantes pose a major threat to PSG´s title subscription with equal points after 14 rounds.
Odriozola was the only player in Nantes who stayed on court for the entire 60 minutes. There was simply no need for substitution when he repeatedly found the net from the right wing without mistakes.
Julien Bos and Valero Rivera also fueled on in Nantes offensive while Ferran Sole made the most of his attempts for PSG.
Nantes pulled away in the first half and PSG had to switch Andreas Palicka out for Janick Green. It wasn’t until Palicka regained his position between the posts that the away team could solve the issues in defense and return for an exciting finish.
Nantes was keen to impress the home crowd and kept a straight course for 34–31. HBC leads PSG by one goal in the top of the top table, Montpellier HB trails three goals behind.
