Paris Saint-Germain keep the right wing colleagues David Balaguer and Ferran Solé for the 2024/25 season. The experienced, spanish duo will continue to improve the team in Champions League and Starligue.
Both Balaguer and Solé was born in the Barcelona region and made sure to get familiarized in French surroundings before adding blue, white and red to their club colours.
Balaguer did seven seasons in HBC Nantes from 2015 and onwards. In the summer of 2022, he accepted PSG when the star club approached. After the news on Tuesday the 32-year-old will remain in the squad for three seasons.
– Continuing with Paris Saint-Germain Handball was an obvious choice. As soon as I arrived in the capital last season, I felt very quickly integrated into this squad made up of talented players and led by a very experienced staff, he says to the club website.
Solé moved across the boarder in 2015, first to Fenix Toulouse and since 2020 he has taken fast steps on the right wing in PSG.
– I’m really proud to be making a long-term commitment to Paris Saint-Germain Handball.
– This new extension was a logical step for me, he says via club communication.
