Rumour: Simen Lyse set for Fredericia move in 2027

Fredericia HK have reportedly secured the signing of Norwegian international Simen Lyse from Paris Saint-Germain ahead of the 2027/28 season, according to Danish Instagram account RYGTEBØRS.

Simen Lyse could be heading for a new challenge in Denmark after just over a year in Paris. According to information published by RYGTEBØRS, Fredericia HK have reached an agreement with the 26-year-old left back, who is expected to join the Danish club in the summer of 2027.

The reported move would come despite Lyse being under contract with Paris Saint-Germain until 2029. RYGTEBØRS claims that an agreement with Fredericia has already been signed, although neither club has officially confirmed the rumour.

Lyse made his name at Kolstad, where his performances earned him recognition as the Norwegian league’s best left back for the 2024/25 season. He has also gained experience in the EHF Champions League and represented Norway at the European Championship, World Championship and Olympic Games. He moved to PSG in January 2026, having initially agreed to join the French giants ahead of the following season.

A move to Fredericia would see the Norwegian international take on a new challenge in the Danish league, with the club continuing to build its squad for the coming seasons.
