Kim Rasmussen new coach at KPR Ostrovia

The 51-year old Kim Rasmussen has found a new coaching job. He has joined Polish outfit KPR Ostrovia Ostrów Wielkopolski for the rest of the season.

KPR Ostrovia Ostrów Wielkopolski are fighting for a play-off spot in the Polish Superliga and will hope to boost their chances with a new coach. Kim Rasmussen has signed a contract for the rest of the season with a possibility to extend for more years.

This will be his first job in men’s handball since leaving Swedish second division team Stavstens IF in 2009. He has since been coaching at the highest level in women’s handball:

He left Rapid in September and has been out of contract since. Now he will replace Maciej Nowakowski who’s contract was terminated after Thursday’s defeat against Piotrków Trybunalski.
